The world is warin' people die,
And all we do is sit and cry,
about the things that we got wrong in life,
when are we ever gonna learn?
I can't see myself lastin' long in a burnin' ditch,
but I know that someone knows out there,
what it feels like to lose you're loved ones,
in that horror that we leave alone,
fear is controlling everyone.

They'll tell you not to do a thing,
or they'll smash you to pieces for not fitting in.
So I hold up a mirror at them.
Question life in this mindset.
We all ask ourselees are we there yet,
when we're young, then youre old and it's getting cold.
but like a great woman once said,
"What good is love, that no one shares?"

I don't wanna die in despair..
Fearlessly, we grow, kinda tryin' to protect our soul.
Fear will kill your mind, the masters of war won't cease.
making bombs and mines, and drones these days,
for the sake of keeping us safe..
we're all driven by them,
into a war we can't comprehend,
until its too late again..

There's always gonna be, some hope for the future,
for you and me, a brother from amothr land,
father mother, moon and sun, brothers and sisters, you'd better run..
Find a place where you can lie,
just one last day beneath the star lit sky,
I couldnt love anyone more..
but when you see me, you might not like the look,
as we all change pages in an open book.
